Experienced Dog Groomer: Independent Contractor (Yorkville & Caledon Locations)

Puppy Love Spa and Salon is seeking skilled dog groomers to provide professional grooming services at our Yorkville and Caledon locations. Our Urban Puppy Shop is renowned for excellence in dog grooming, and as an independent professional, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver exceptional care while managing your own schedule and workflow.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide grooming services to dogs of all breeds and sizes, including bathing, trimming, clipping, scissoring, and creative grooming.

• Work with clients to understand desired grooming styles and advise on at-home maintenance and products.

• Ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and happy during each session.

• Maintain personal grooming tools and workspace in a clean and sanitary condition.

• Participate in coordination meetings or training sessions on a voluntary basis to stay connected with salon operations and industry updates.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of professional dog grooming experience.

• Strong dog-handling skills and ability to safely lift and position dogs.

• Flexibility to provide services based on your own availability.

• Commitment to high-quality grooming and excellent client experience.

How This Works as an Independent Contractor:

• You will be compensated on a commission basis for services you personally perform.

• You control your own schedule, workflow, and methods of service.

• You are responsible for your own tools, insurance, and business expenses.

• You may provide services to other clients or salons, provided there is no conflict of interest.

Compensation:
Independent contractors at Puppy Love typically earn $1,000 – $2,000+ per week, depending on the volume of clients you serve and your grooming expertise. Your earnings reflect your skills, experience, and the effort you put into delivering exceptional service.
