Puppy Love Spa and Salon is seeking creative, energetic, and dog-loving individuals to join our grooming team as Junior Dog Groomers on a contractor basis. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, grow your grooming skills, and work in a professional, multi-service dog facility while maintaining control over your schedule.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide grooming services including combing, clipping, trimming, and shaping dogs’ coats according to breed standards and client requests.

• Learn to study dog proportions to determine the best cutting patterns.

• Develop hand-scissoring and finishing techniques under guidance.

• Communicate with clients about grooming styles and at-home maintenance, including recommending retail products.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

• Report any pet health concerns immediately to the overseeing staff.

• Participate in optional promotional or training activities to grow your skills and client base.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Passion for dogs and willingness to learn the grooming craft.

• Ability to work in a busy environment with flexible weekday and Saturday availability.

• Attention to detail, patience, and a positive attitude.

Independent Contractor Details:

• You set your own hours and control your workflow while meeting service expectations.

• You are responsible for your own tools, insurance, and business expenses.

• You may provide services to other clients, provided there is no conflict of interest.

• Compensation: Earn $500 – $1,500+ per week, depending on your skills, performance, and client volume.
