Multi award winning, certified master groomer Marcia Strong has been an accredited Professional Pet Groomer since 2009 With a keen eye for detail, and competitive spirit, she was sure to impress in all aspects of the pet grooming industry. Marcia began her grooming career 14 years ago, training under two of the world’s top groomers. After gaining experience in the salon, Marcia decided to take her skills to the competitive grooming ring in 2010. She brought home multiple awards and titles in various Poodle and Mixed breed classes. Marcia has groomed dogs that have been featured in international magazines as well as numerous movies and other media. In 2015, Marcia became a Certified Master Groomer through the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists (CPPS).

 

After moving home, with her family from Alberta to Ontario, she became a certifier for the CPPS and teaching seminars world-wide. Making sure to keep herself up-to-date and staying sharp with the ever-evolving industry. All of that aside Marcia may be best known for her social media presence. Her tiktok "I like dogs more than you" has gone viral numerous times. It also won her a barkleighs honour award. As well as giving her the opportunity to be sponsored by a few different brands. Beyond pet grooming and teaching, she is an avid open level competitor. Watch the ring for her and her kerry blue ayla and mini poodle possum. In the last couple of years Marcia has sold all of her store fronts and now works from home with a small team in a quiet intimate setting.
